Okay. So I usually wake up at around noon. Not today. I woke up at 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm tired and grumpy. At about 7 I go to let Cosmo outside and give him his medication. Well, he had another attack, and I was all by myself, which scares me to no end. But, I got through it and so did he.
About 2 hours ago, I was just jammin out to music downstairs, I hadn't showered yet and my clothes were indecent. Well, somebody knocks on the door. I ignore it. Then the doorbell rings. Aaand rings. So I go up and get it. Well, it's my neighbor. She told me that my 3 horses got out, which freaked me out because we are right next to a highway where stupid people go (total accidents in the YEAR we've lived there: 3, girl trying to commit suicide, 3 trucks crashing on our intersection, and our other neighbor's horses got out at night where people can't see them)
So I grab the halters, some oats and an apple. The horses were currently eating in the alfalfa field across from our house. I we walk over there (my neighbor's nice and was helping me). But, the horses know they are free, and don't want to get caught. So, they run. Towards. The. Highway. But instead of running across, they ran the fence with my (good) neighbor's horses. Which can be dangerous.
But we finally manage to get them, using one of my neighbors horses (which is absolutely gorgeous by the way) and we head back to my house, I'm leading my 2 horses, Fred and Lady, and my neighbor is leading her horse and my mom's horse, Fancy. Well Fred acts like an ass the whole way there, and I'm kind of frightened around him since he's more pushy than the others. But we get there, and my amazing neighbor fixes the gate so they can't get out.
I thank her, and get back inside, first thing I notice is Cosmo heading towards me, walking funny. Well, his back legs are giving out on him so it's hard to walk or do anything, which is killing me inside and I'm on the verge of tears right now.
So yeah. Now I have to go and act happy for a few hours during agility practice. I think I'm going to go do something relaxing or I'm going to decapitate somebody the second they get on my nerves.
