Hey guys, This is Cosmo. He is my 13 year old (14 in september) rescue. His formal owners turned him into the rescue when he was 13 weeks old, because he was "too much dog" He had some annoying little name when he first came to us, so my parents named him Cosmo, because he reminded them of Cosmo Kramer. In about October, 2011, Cosmo was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, which means a whole lot of liquid is around his heart and it makes it hard for the heart to do it's job. Vets can normally pump the liquid out of him, but Cosmo was also diagnosed with kidney failure, and that means that he needs to drink a lot of liquid and have a lot of liquid in his body. The vets had given him Medicam to try and help the heart, and for a while it has worked. Around two months ago, Cosmo had a seizure, and we are a long ways away from any vet. I thought that it was the end for him, but fortunately, he pulled through and my mom immediately went to the vet with him, and the vet said that it was because his heart couldn't handle all of the liquid. But because of Cosmo's kidneys, they couldn't drain the liquid from his body. Yesterday, he had another seizure, while I was away in town. My parents told me that he didn't have long left. Some days he looks like he may last a month, others it looks like he might now see the sun rise tomorrow. Here is what I am asking. I need somebody (or more) to draw a picture of Cosmo, the pose being whatever they wanted. I just want to have a drawing with me for when he's gone, and I can't draw for the life of me. This isn't a contest, but I will give something to anybody who makes an effort, cause it would mean the f***ing world to me. I would give passes, unicorns, equus, you name it. If somebody could do a good one, I might get it framed/make it into a blanket (we got a store that can do that) with your signature on it, of course. There is no deadline or anything, and if you PM me I can get some more pictures. Thanks, fly

I may be able to do it if you have a while to wait for. (I need to finish a rabbit drawing book first, because they need to send it to printing.)
If you agree on that, (might be 1-2 weeks I need before I can start) then drop me a PM. You know my coats - I only did one dog yet but I guess I can do

wolf- First of all, thank you so much for even considering doing it. Yes I would like it coloured, and I got some more pictures. Cosmo had another attack on Thursday, where he lost control of his bladder and stability, but thankfully he recovered. But in just the past hour, he has seemed to lose a little bit of control on one of his back legs.

I might give it a try. Poor little guy. We have a toy fox terrier who will be 15 in august and he's not doing real well either. He's almost completely blind, barely eats, and when we take him outside to do his business he wanders around like he hasn't got any idea where he is or what's going on.

Tp - pee in your yard so he knows where to go, it may help (males can do it at night, or you can bottle it)
Fly - ill start working on it tomorrow night

We have 6 other dogs so that's not the problem. He's just so old he doesn't remember where he is.

thunder- That must be hard. We put Cosmo in a pen when he's outside so we don't lose him, as he is deaf. My other Jack Russel, who is currently recovering from a broken leg, didn't eat for a while either. We found out it was because by his supper time, he already lost his hunger, so now all of our older dogs get fed mornings and nights.
If your yard isn't fenced in, I suggest having some way of keeping him in your yard (leash + collar, pen, ect.) until you can find a way of letting him now it's time to come in, like a whistle or something.
Wolf- Thank you so much.

fly-no we don't have a fence and he won't wear a least or collor. He can't go anywhere fast enough that wee can't catch him. He can really only walk at this point and he goes very slow so we have no problem with it.

Do you want some youth given to him or as he is? (I could do both)
